Bookshelf Reading Tracker
A reading log for children who are not writing much yet: four shelves of outline books, and you color one in for every book you read.
A reading log for children who are not writing much yet: four shelves of outline books, and you color one in for every book you read.
Four shelves holding 40 numbered outline books in different heights and widths, with name and goal lines at the top and a line at the bottom for a favorite book.
Each time a child finishes a book, or you finish a read-aloud together, they color one book on the shelf. The numbers make it easy to see how many have been read so far. Hang it on the fridge or the classroom wall.
It works well with short books that a beginner can finish in one sitting, such as our free decodable readers. When a child is ready to write titles, move up to the book list.
