Frequently Asked Questions

Are the games free?

Yes. There are no ads, no sign-up and no accounts. Progress is saved only on the device you play on.

What do they run on?

Any web browser: tablets, phones, Chromebooks and computers, including classroom smartboards. There is nothing to install.

What ages are they for?

Sight Word River is for kindergarten (ages 4 to 7). Number Line Hop starts at kindergarten and goes up to 2nd grade: the first stop of each group is always open, so an older child can start where they need to.

Do they need sound?

Sight Word River is built around hearing the word, so turn the sound on. Number Line Hop is quiet by default; switch on "Read to me" for a child who cannot read the numbers yet.
