About the problem and solution organizer

A problem and solution organizer follows the backbone of most stories: a character has a problem, tries to solve it, and finally does. Students write the problem at the top, up to three attempts in the middle, and the solution at the bottom.

It also works for nonfiction and social studies, where the problem might be a drought, a design flaw, or a disagreement between two groups. Prints on US Letter paper, free.
