Wade's Lake Game
Wade wanted to play a fun game with his dog, Dot. He made a plan to take her to the big lake. "We must run fast," Wade told Dot. "I do not want to be late!" They ran and ran down the path.
Soon, Wade and Dot came to the lake. Wade grabbed a red ball from his bag. He tossed it for Dot to catch. But the ball hit the base of a rock. It went plop into the lake!
"Oh no, Dot!" said Wade. "The ball is in the lake!" Dot stood by the mud and looked at the ball.
Then, Dot swam in to get it. "Good dog, Dot!" said Wade.
