Shane and the Sand Dune

Shane ran up the tall sand dune. He had a huge red tube. "I will slide down on this tube," Shane said. He set it on the sand.

Shane looked down. A cute crab sat on the tube! The crab did not run away. "Get off, little dude," Shane said. But the crab sat still. Shane did not want to be rude, but he had a rule. No crabs on his tube!

Shane had to lure the crab away. He dug in his bag for a snack. He found a plump prune. Shane tossed the prune on the sand. The crab ran to get the snack.

"That is a fine trick," Shane smiled. He grabbed his huge tube and hummed a glad tune. He slid all the way down the pure white dune.
