Mike's Kite Rescue
Mike had a fine kite. He went to fly it by the big pine. The kite flew up, up, up! But then it got stuck in the pine! "Oh no, my kite!" said Mike. He did not want his kite to hide up in the pine. Mike had the kite line in his hand. He gave the line a small tug. The kite did not come down. So Mike gave the line a wide, wide tug. This time, the kite slid down the side of the pine! Mike had his kite. He gave a big smile. Then Mike got on his bike. "Time to ride home!" said Mike. He had a fine time.
