Val's Hot Pot
Val had a big pot. The pot was hot on top of the box. Val had a lot of hot pot for her dog, Dot. Dot sat on a mat. “Oh no,” said Val. “I do not have a lot for the pot!” The box was not full. Dot, the dog, ran off to help. She got a big cob and set it on the pot. Then Dot ran off and got a big log! Val had to laugh. “Not a log, Dot!” she said. Val got a hot dog from the box for Dot. “You are a good dog, Dot,” said Val.
