Stan's Blue Flag

L-Blends Kindergarten – 1st Grade Blends & Digraphs
Stan's Blue Flag

Stan was at his tent. He had a grand plan. He got a blue flag. He set the flag on a slim stick in the grass.

But a gust hit the flag. The flag slipped and spun.

Plop! It fell flat in the wet mud.

"The flag will not stand," said Stan. "I must fix it."

Stan ran back to his tent. He got a black clip from his bag.

"This will do the job," he said.

Stan set the clip on the stick. He set up the flag again. The clip held it fast. The flag did not slip.

Stan clapped his hands. He was glad.
