1Brad went to the pen to feed Pip the pig. Brad held a sweet plum in his hand. He wanted to see his pig munch on it.

2But Pip was not there. The gate was open, and Pip was gone. "I need to find him," Brad said. Brad took three fast steps past the shed.

3He walked past a tall weed and looked around. Pip was a quick pig, and Brad had to run just to keep up with him.

4Brad heard a buzz and saw a fat bee, but he did not see Pip. Brad went down the hill and into the deep grass.

5He stopped to peek past a big green tree. There, he spotted his lost pal! Pip was resting by a big rock.

6The sweet plum was still in Brad's hand. He ran to meet his pig. "I found you!" Brad said. He knelt down and fed Pip the plum.

7Pip munched it up fast. Brad gave him a big hug. He led Pip back up the green hill and kept him close.

8Brad shut the gate tight so Pip could not get free again. He felt glad to see his pig safe at last.
