Spring crosswords for kids
These free spring crossword puzzles are written for elementary students and work from March through May. The easy puzzle prints its answers in a word bank, so early readers can match each clue to a word. The medium puzzle is about the spring garden, from blossoms to caterpillars. The hard puzzle is a spring science crossword covering photosynthesis, pollination, germination and the butterfly life cycle, so it doubles as a review for a plants or life-cycles unit. Every PDF is US-letter size with the answer key on page two.
