Pip's Brown Cow

Diphthong — OW 1st-2nd Phase 4
Pip's Brown Cow

Pip ran to his dad. "Dad, can we plow the land now?" Pip asked. His dad had a frown.

"Our old brown cow will not get up," said Dad. "She is sad." The cow stood down by the pen.

Pip went to the cow. "How can I help you, cow?" Pip thought. The cow let out a gruff growl.

Pip saw a big red flower. He took the flower. Pip gave the flower to the cow. "Wow!" the cow thought. She ate the flower!

"Now we can plow!" said Dad. Pip's dad got the plow. The cow did not frown. She got up and helped them plow the land, all the way down to the town.
