Thad Packs Up
Thad wanted to help Dad. Dad had to pack for their trip. They were going to the south!
“Can I help?” Thad asked.
“Yes, please,” Dad said. “We want the thick cloth for our lunch.”
Thad looked. He did not see the thick cloth. He saw the thin cloth. “Can we use this thin one?” Thad asked.
“That is not good,” Dad said. “It is not thick.”
Thad and Dad looked. They had to find the thing! Thad thought. Then, he saw it. The thick cloth was by the math book! “Look, Dad!” Thad said. “This is it!”
Dad had the cloth. “Thank you, Thad,” Dad said. Now they could go!
