Rose Fixes the Cake

Rose Fixes the Cake

Rose had to make a cake. It was for her dad. Rose made the cake at home. She had a pink rose for the top of the cake.

Then, Luke came to the cake! He gave the cake a poke. Oh no! Luke made a big hole in the cake. Rose did not like that. “No, Luke!” she said.

Rose had to cope. She had a small cone. She put the cone in the cake’s hole. Then, she put the rose on the cone. Rose had a hope that Dad would not note the hole. She gave the cake a pat.
