Kim's Pink Dress

Kim had a new dress. It was a pink dress. Kim liked it much, but it was still damp. She did not want to put it on when it was wet.

Kim had a plan. She went to the sun. She draped the dress on a big rock. Small drops dripped off the dress.

"I must not let it get damp," Kim said. "I must go to Pam's soon."

The sun did its work. The drops dripped. The dress felt not damp. Kim ran to get the dress. "Good," Kim said. "Now I can go!" Kim put on the dress. She did not dread it. She went to Pam's.
