Kit's Lucky Rock
Kit went to pack her pack for a fun trek. She got a snack and a drink. But Kit could not find her red sock. She had to find her good luck rock, too! Kit felt sick to not find them.
She went to look. Kit ran to the back of the hut. She looked under the deck. "Look!" said Kit. Her red sock was there. She gave a quick pick to her sock. Then, Kit saw her rock! It was by a big duck at the dock.
Kit ran to the dock. She made a quick pick of her rock. The big duck had a long neck. Kit gave the duck a pat. "Good duck," Kit said. Then Kit ran back to pack her pack. She had her sock and her rock. What good luck!
